As we enter the start of June, it’s time for us Canadians to get excited! The warm weather does not last long for Canadians so lets make the most out of the Summer and our beach days! But before you dash off to soak up the sun, it’s essential to ensure your beach bag is stocked with all the essentials for a perfect day on the beach. From sun protection to entertainment, what you pack can make or break your beach experience. So, let’s dive into 10 must have items for your beach day!

When I’m in the sun for too long and I don’t have water. I LOVE to read! There is no better place to read than the beach. I love the feeling of being stress free next to the water, tanning and getting into a really good book. You’ll see I have listed below the Kindle. I recently got the one listed below, the Kindle Paperwhite AND IT IS A GAME CHANGER! I have been reading physical copies of books for years and did not ever think I’d be able to get into reading off of a device/Kindle. I was SO wrong! It actually enhances my reading experience and especially in the sun. I am SHOCKED the screen is glare free and I am able to read it 100% fine while I am in the direct sun. When I read books in the sun I tend to squint my eyes but I don’t find this happening with the Kindle. You can even adjust the text in the Kindle if you need it to be larger while in the sun!

I have also attached some good beach reads. Since I’m so obsessed with my Kindle, I suggest downloading these on there. Now a days 4 books is pretty much $100 CDN… a Kindle (depending on the version) is $150 CDN. Thats about 6 books. It’s so worth your money.
